Resource. Connect. Strengthen.
Our heart at Jeeah’s Hope is to support families in the long-term journey of adoption and foster care. We do this in three primary ways: Resourcing, Connecting, and Strengthening.
Resourcing:
We steward gifts from generous donors to offer matching grants to families in the adoption process (learn more about our Financial Assistance programs). We also provide a wealth of resources, tools, and specialized training for adoptive/foster parents (check out our Resource Library).
Connecting:
Part of our mission at Jeeah’s Hope is to provide meaningful connections for local adoptive & foster families in the Chattahoochee Valley. No one understands the journeys of adoption & fostering like fellow adoptive & foster families. These free, fun, family-friendly events are provided quarterly to *foster* 🙂 connections, relationships, and belonging among local families just like yours!
We also host smaller connectional events for specific groups to help build Christ-centered community among local adoptive/foster families.
- BREATHE is our monthly gathering of hope, help, and community for adoptive/foster Moms in the area.
- The Guild is our regular Fatherhood Community for local Dads learning love and lead their families well together.
See our Upcoming Events Calendar for more info on these and other JH events/gatherings!
Strengthening:
We offer pastoral care and counseling support to struggling families that is both adoption-competent and trauma-informed (learn more about our Counseling/Care programs).
We also host an annual training event in partnership with Clement Arts called the “Hope for the Journey” conference. This two-day event presented by Show Hope and the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development is ideal for adoptive and foster parents, those considering adoption or foster care, and those who are serving and supporting others, including social workers, agency professionals, teachers, church staff and ministry leaders, counselors, therapists, and others.
All attendees receive a certificate of attendance that can be turned in to your agency for training purposes. This conference is approved for 8-11 continuing education hours (depending on their programs year-to-year). Partial credit hours can be provided if you can not attend the entire conference.
Are you in need?
Jeeah’s Hope would like to help families who are struggling. The call to adopt, foster, or care for children in need can seem overwhelming at times. The heart of an orphan or hurting child can be difficult to understand. We have resources, counselors, and an amazing community of people who have walked where you are walking.
Please email jeeahshope@gmail.com if you are in need. We would love to connect with you, listen, pray, and help! Support along your journey is available.
