Adoption is expensive, in more ways than money. There are significant financial costs, but it also requires an intense commitment of time and effort, there are emotional, relational, and spiritual costs to consider… Adoption is a calling! And if God is calling you to it, then He will help you do it.
Jeeah’s Hope exists to help families along this God-appointed journey. To date, we have been privileged to be a part of over 100 adoption stories, and we pray that God will allow us to be part of many more stories that have yet to be written.
Jeeah’s Hope provides matching grants and/or interest-free covenant loans to applicants who meet the established guidelines described below. We have partnered with the Lifesong for Orphans organization to administer the Jeeah’s Hope grant and covenant loan program. Lifesong for Orphans is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt orphan care and adoption ministry that helps ministries across the country establish and administer adoption assistance funds.
As part of this relationship, Lifesong exclusively handles the application process (and all confidential information involved in the application process). They provide the administrative and operational support needed to evaluate applicants, make recommendations regarding grants and loans, and handle financial contributions and disbursements. Factors used in their evaluation include the amount of money in the Jeeah’s Hope Fund at the time of application, the applicant’s financial situation and adoption-related needs, and the ways to best maximize the resources of the Jeeah’s Hope Fund.
In addition to the above factors, decisions about Jeeah’s Hope grants and/or covenant loans will be based on the following considerations:
- Applicants must provide a written statement of their personal faith in Jesus Christ.
- Applicants must fully complete the application process to establish their need for financial assistance.
- Applicants need to have an approved home study conducted by a licensed social worker.
- Applicants must have a letter of recommendation from the pastor of their church.
Following approval by Lifesong and Jeeah’s Hope, all disbursements of matching grants and/or interest-free covenant loans are made by Lifesong using Jeeah’s Hope Funds.
